MDMX owner Mike Livengood was born and raised in Northern Indiana. Born in Gary, Indiana and then
raised in the Portage/South Haven area. He then spent apx. 12 years as a industrial maintenance tech. He comes from
a large family. Two brothers and Three sisters. Both Parents Michael and Ceceilia Livengood have deceased at 50
and 45. His father Michael passed away due to cancer and his mother Ceceilia to a heart attack. Both parents have
inspired him thru life and is grateful to be where he is today.
In early 2002 he and his uncle worked out a plan to cover state wide coverage. He did just that, and MDMX was then started
and based in LaPorte county Indiana for 5 years. As time went by he found a great opportunity to have his company located
in the central northern area of Indiana. MDMX is now located in Plymouth, Indiana where there has already been a increase
of business and sales. MDMX on average travels close to 1200 miles per week to all surrounding customers who request
the mobile entertainment suppliers.
MUSIC N MOTION was the founding
company that has started all of our family members to pursue the industry of mobile entertainment! In 2002 MDMX became
a branch of MUSIC N MOTION. MDMX was established to provide the highest quality services to Northern Indiana, Sw Michigan
and Ne Illinois. Music N Motion, and Music Masters was going to Run the Southern parts of Indiana and Illinois.
Since then Music N Motion owner, DJ John (Walter John Wood) has deceased. A legend and one of the most versatile disc
jockeys In the state of Indiana. Since the recent tragedy of losing our uncle and fellow dj, MDMX felt obligated to
cover and keep the industry going thru out the state.
I can remember back to
my early childhood helping Dj John carry in Vinyl records, cassettes, and Compact discs as years progressed. Dj john
stayed with the technology and persisted in going digital in 2000. This took off a big burden to a lot of our industry.
We are no longer spending 30 minutes to a hour carrying all that music in! MDMX is 100% computerized, no glitching,
skipping, and has exceptional sound systems!
MDMX also has started its own remix
productions in 2006. Many of the remixes that have been released have already made many heads turn. These production
mixes that MDMX produce are labeled as the mashups! This is where a rock and dance song are spun, weaved, and put together
to bring many generations together to better keep the crowds interactive! They are alot of fun and we have witnessed
first hand. We have people who are 18 all the way up to 60 that dance to these mixes and they are requested at every
event MDMX performs at.
